One point of pride at Boardworks is making and laying up our own veneers. We can not only keep a constant color match but we can stretch these wonderful resources without needless waste. A plus side to veneering, say a large table top, is much more stability from wood movement due to environmental factors and stresses. Another plus is a veneer that is way thicker than a commercially made product, leading to a piece of furniture that can be refinished for generations. By using traditional woodworking techniques for joinery, coupled with modern technologies such as epoxy resins and plywood substrates for durability, Boardworks can create something to last a lifetime.
